Roles and Responsibilities:

-Support a project architect through all phases of design and construction.

-Support an interior decorator through all phases of design, procurement, and installation.

-Manage communications with clients, internal team members, and external vendors.

-Manage schedules, timelines, and details for multiple projects.

-Work at a fast pace without compromising quality.  

 

Requirements:

-A disciplined self-starter with drive and determination.

-Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

-Ability to work in both a team environment and with outside vendors.

-Acute attention to detail and organization.

-Available for a minimum of 20 hours per week (May 22 - August 4).

-Local to Birmingham, Alabama preferred.

-Travel may be required. 

 

Qualifications:

-Pursuing or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program.

-3+ years experience in an Architectural field.  

-Proficient in AutoDesk (AutoCAD and Revit) and Adobe Creative Suite.

-Have an understanding of construction types, code, and detailing for residential projects.
